On Wednesday, October 5, Clayton County Board of Education member Ms. Joy Tellis Cooper, representing District 8, visited East Clayton Elementary School and read Let’s Be Healthy by Issac Chase to the students in Ms. Erin Sullivan’s Pre-K classroom. The visit was part of Georgia Pre-K Week as observed by Clayton County Public Schools’ (CCPS) Office of Early Learning/Pre-K Department. The celebration will continue through Friday, October 7, 2022.
In addition to an interactive read aloud, Ms. Cooper participated in an impromptu sign language lesson.
