Greetings Parents and Guardians,
August 2, 2021

Welcome to East Clayton Elementary School! My Name is Tracie McCullough, and I am your Parent & Family Liaison. My role at East Clayton is to support parents/guardians in efforts to boost student achievement. Some valuable levels of support include, but are not limited to: *home-to-school partnership *parenting *social and emotional learning *advocacy *personal growth *community

I look forward to an exciting year of learning, growing, and exploring together. We have lots of activities, learning resources, and virtual workshops to share with our parents and families throughout the year.

  • Parent Resource Center hours: 8:00am – 2:00pm (M-F)

  • The Parent Portal to Infinite Campus: Great tool that parents/guardians can use to monitor their child’s grades, attendance, schedules, test scores, and other information.

  • CCPS Virtual Learning Tool Kit: One-Stop-Shop to support at-home student learning, as well as, a frontline resource to respond to parents/guardians’ most pressing needs, to help their children succeed in the virtual and face-to-face learning environment.

  • Google Classroom: Communications, Assignments, and Face-to-Face Workshops and Teacher Instructions

  • Class Dojo: School-wide communications platform to help share Title I Parent & Family Engagement updates and information, calendars, parent engagement photos, and celebrations. Teachers use Class Dojo to update parents their child’s performance and behavior, and to share what’s being learned in the classroom through videos, photos, and messages.

  • School Messenger: School-wide phone messages/announcements containing important updates and information from the school. Parent contact information is retrieved from Infinite Campus.

I am excited to meet each and every one of you via, Face-to-Face or Virtual. For questions or concerns, please contact the parent liaison, Tracie McCullough (678) 827-7927 (ext. 5) or email  [email protected]

All families who complete the form will be invited to a drive-thru Ice Cream Party at the end of April (exact date-TBA)
The goal for each school is to collect "at least" 100 responses on the Spring Survey and "at least" 100 responses on the School-Parent Compact, Parent Engagement Plan, Title I Schoolwide Plan, and Teacher Training.
