November Activities

Strong4Life

With National School Lunch week this month, we're highlighting the healthy habit: Eat Smarter, Drink Water!  Fueling your body and brain with nutritious meals and plenty of water gives you energy to focus and the nutrients you need to grow.

 ·         Healthy Habit Video: Join our Strong4Life Challenge Team as they teach us to "Eat smarter, drink water" in this short video. Play on your morning announcements or in classrooms to learn mo.

 ·         Brain Break Video: Join our Strong4Life Challenge Team as they lead a quick activity to get you ready for the day in this  Run in place, what's the pace? Video.

 Resources:

·         We've created resources to share with student families around our healthy habits. From flyers about the SuperPowers of Water and how to Be a Water Warrior, to this Eat Smarter, Drink Water tip sheet on how to create balanced meals and positive mealtime environments, they are sure to enjoy these items.

 Reminders:

·         Cape Day-Friday, Oct. 20: an annual tradition that encourages the community to honor and celebrate our strong and resilient patients at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Share your support on social media using the hashtag #CapeDayATL.

Sign up for the schools newsletter to receive updates and information related to Strong4Life programs and resources.
