Mrs. Usher develops deep connections and relationships with her students.  She provides extra support to students as an after-school remediation teacher and grade level representative on various student recognition committees.  She is always willing to share resources and ideas with colleagues and serves as a role model in classroom management.  Mrs. Usher continues to strive for excellence and attends professional development classes to improve her instructional and assessment strategies.   She is truly a role model and teacher leader at East Clayton Elementary School.

     This teacher has been extremely dedicated to promoting high performance for all students, not just hers. She also makes every effort she can to assist other teachers to be effective and successful in and outside of the classroom.  

     Mrs. Usher has shown unwavering commitment and dedication to her students. She continues to do an outstanding job with her students, and deserves to be recognized for that.
